Jim, great article on this topic. I can gain 140mb from losing the Update.exe files on my Sony Vaio laptop, however when I completed the search and highlighted the files I got a message box entitled Error reading file or folder with the message Cannot delete file: Cannot read from source file or disk. If you can advise me I would be very grateful.
